How It Works
Austin Pet Boarding service that makes your pets will feel Right at Home, with our large Turf backyard and covered patio. Unlike a traditional kennel, we focus on giving each pet an individualized care experience with lots of hugs and belly-rubs. We make sure every pet gets the right amount of exercise, playtime, and human interaction every day. Since we are not a large facility and we are boarding pets out of our home we only take a small number of pets at one time.
Boarding facilities can be stressful for pets, however, being in a home environment you can be assured your pet will be treated like our own and will get lots of attention and play and potty time. Many facilities will leave your pet alone overnight, since we will be watching your pet from our own home you do not have to worry about your pet being alone.
Safety is our #1 priority and with most pets we will require a meet and greet as well as your pet being up to date on vaccines. We require dogs to be up to date on their vaccinations for rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella. We always encourage all pet parents to discuss vaccinations with their preferred veterinarian to ensure your pet remains as safe, happy and healthy as possible. We only accept pets that get along with other animals and will not take any pets that are aggressive towards other animals or humans.
What you can expect when boarding with Right at Home Pet Boarding
- Daily wellness checks with pictures and videos
- 4-5 outdoor potty breaks
- 5+ hours of outdoor or indoor playtime
- Comfy beds and clean bowls
- Meals twice a day we recommend bringing your dogs usual food
- Offer baths for $35 and Nail Trimming for $20

Priscilla was AMAZING!! She constantly sent updates and pictures of our fur baby while we were away. This was the longest we had been away/boarded our dog, and we were so nervous at first. We felt immediate relief after dropping him off, … More knowing he was in great hands. Priscilla is very adamant on intervals inside/outside which is amazing with the crazy Texas heat, I love that there’s an indoor option! The last place we boarded had no indoor options, and you could tell he was overheated as soon as we picked him up.
Oliver is very anxious and has some unique quirks 😉 and Priscilla was so accommodating and patient with him.
